Compassionate, evidence-based online counseling with Dr. Nancy Thomas, PhD, LPC-S, serving adults and couples anywhere in Texas, including Dallas, Plano, Frisco, McKinney, Allen, Wylie, Rowlett, and Richardson. Care for the whole person
Many of my clients are high-functioning people carrying a lot quietly: leaders, caregivers, ministry families, and children of immigrants navigating two cultures. Together we make space for what you have been holding.
As an Indian American therapist, I offer South Asian and Desi clients, and anyone from an immigrant family, a space where culture, family, and values are understood rather than explained. Read more about counseling for South Asian families.

Counseling questions
Who can receive counseling from Dr. Thomas?
Adults and couples who live in Texas. Sessions are virtual, so you can meet from anywhere in the state.
Is faith-integrated counseling available?
Yes. Faith-integrated (Christian) counseling is available if you choose. Dr. Thomas has theological training and integrates faith respectfully at your direction. Clients of all backgrounds and beliefs are welcome.
What does counseling cost, and do you take insurance?
Individual and couples sessions are $175, intake sessions are $200, and 120-minute extended sessions are $300. Counseling is private pay. A superbill is available on request for possible out-of-network reimbursement. A small number of reduced-fee spots are offered at $100 per session.
What if cost is a barrier?
Finances should not be a barrier to getting help. A limited number of reduced-fee spots are available at $100 per session, and superbills can help with out-of-network reimbursement. If those options still do not fit, Dr. Thomas will help you find affordable care elsewhere.
What if I need help right now?
If you are in crisis, call or text 988, the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline, or call 911. Online forms and email are not monitored for emergencies.
